CSI Season 15 to be Aired on September and will be the Last Season for Some, News of Major Casting Surprises Going Around
Everyone's favorite crime show is back! CSI season 15 is green lighted and one of the latest news relating to the CBS is that actor Paul Guilfoyle, known to fans as Captain Jim Brass, will not be appearing in the new season as his character had left in season fourteen's finale that has aired last May 7, 2014. He had been one of the original cast members remaining along with George Eads since its premiere in 2000. It was also announced that Carol Mendelsohn, a prominent showrunner for the CSI franchise, will be leaving after 14 years. She will be replaced by Don McGill.
Despite certain people leaving, new people will be entering CSI season 15. One of them will be Mark Valley who will be taking on a recurring role of a former detective turned private investigator. Valley is known for his role in Human Target, Body of Proof, Harry's Law, Crisis, and Fringe. There have been rumors circulating that his character will be in a team and in a probable relationship with Elisabeth Shue's character. In addition to that, there have been rumors that there will be more major casting surprises in store. We will be checking in on that.
In a related news, a new spin-off named CSI: Cyber will be airing midway 2015 and will be starred by Patricia Arquette. It is noted Mendelsohn will still be credited as an executive producer for this.
CSI season 15 will be out on September 28, 2014 at 10 pm on CBS.
