DUMB AND DUMBER TO Release Date, Latest News: Lloyd Using Just 1% of His Brain Capacity
Dumb and Dumber To, the sequel to the 1994 surprise hit slapstick road-buddy comedy film Dumb and Dumber, is set to be released to US theaters on November 14, 2014.
Co-written and co-directed by Bobby and Peter Farrelly, the Dumb and Dumber To cast will be led by Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels who returning to reprise their original roles as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, respectively.
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels will be supported in Dumb and Dumber To cast by Laurie Holden as the main villain Adele Pichlow, Kathleen Turner, Jennifer Lawrence, Braddy Bluhm. Steve Tom, Rachel Melvin, and Rob Riggle, along with a cat named Butthole.
There is not much entry yet in the Dumb and Dumber To wiki but Jim Carrey just recently posted on WhoSay a photo parodying the 'Lucy' movie poster. In the 'Lucy' poster, it says above Scarlett Johansson's picture as the Lucy character, "The average person uses 10% of their brain capacity. Imagine what she could do with 100%." In the parody, it says above Jim Carrey's picture in his Lloyd character, "The average person uses 10% of their brain capacity. Imagine what he could do with 1%." Using just 1% of his brain capacity, Lloyd can do plenty in the way of getting himself in pretty much ridiculous territory.
Set twenty years after their last adventure, the Dumb and Dumber To full movie will follow the two dimwitted best friends back on another long road trip away from their home in Providence, Rhode Island. Harry just learns he is father to a twenty-year old girl he never knew he had. He also learns she has kidney problems and she wants to ask her dad for one of his kidneys. Naturally, the two good friends set off to find and help her. Along the way, Lloyd falls madly in love, for the second time in his life.
The original Dumb and Dumber movie was a box office success and developed a cult following. It spawned an animated TV series and a prequel, Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd. In the first film, the mentally challenged pair went on a road trip to Aspen, Colorado, to return a briefcase full of money to its owner, Mary (played by Lauren Holly), a lady whom Lloyd, for the first time in his life, fell madly in love with.
