One week after the death of legendary music executive Clive Davis, the man widely credited with discovering and shaping generations of superstars will be honored at an intimate, star-studded funeral in New York City.
According to multiple reports, Davis' private funeral is scheduled for Monday, June 29, in New York City. While the exact location has not been publicly disclosed, the invitation-only service will bring together some of the biggest names in the music industry to celebrate a career that transformed popular music for more than six decades.
Among those expected to participate in the service are Bruce Springsteen, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Barry Manilow, Dionne Warwick, and Kenny G, with additional artists and industry figures also anticipated to attend. Rather than simply attending as guests, several of these performers are expected to take part in honoring the man who helped launch or revive their careers.
