The Oak Ridge Boys are opening the treasure chest-and inviting fans to join them. Duane Allen and William Lee Golden will appear on TalkShopLive on Tuesday, October 20, at 7 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. CDT to discuss Buried Treasures, their forthcoming album, with special autographed preorders available during the broadcast.
Fans can watch through the group's official Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube channels, or join the TalkShopLive broadcast. The event's storefront offers signed CDs and signed gold vinyl editions, giving listeners a keepsake ahead of the album's October 30 release.
Arriving through Lightning Rod Records, Buried Treasures brings the Oaks' unmistakable harmonies to songs of faith, friendship, comfort, and love. Anderson East produced and engineered the project, with Dave Cobb serving as executive producer-a creative partnership that places the group's enduring vocal identity at the center of a deeply personal collection.
The title carries an intriguing distinction: Buried Treasures is the album, while "Buried Treasure" is its only newly written song. Around that original, the Oaks gather familiar works whose themes invite listeners to consider what lasts: the people who stand beside us, the love that sustains us, and the faith that gives hope its voice.
That spiritual thread runs through "How Great Thou Art" and "Softly and Tenderly," while "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "Lean on Me" bring their own language of reassurance and human connection. Sharing space on the record, these songs suggest a conversation between the group's gospel heritage and the wider musical world its harmonies have embraced.
Tuesday's appearance gives Allen and Golden an opportunity to bring that collection into focus before its release. For longtime followers, the draw is both musical and personal: hearing two familiar voices discuss a new chapter, then securing an autographed copy to mark the occasion.
