Rising country singer-songwriter Lakelin Lemmings is offering a more intimate take on her self-worth anthem with the release of "I Ain't For Everybody (Piano)." The stripped-down rendition arrived October 23, giving listeners a closer look at the emotion behind a song about embracing who you are without seeking everyone's approval.

Originally featured on Lemmings' self-titled debut album, the song takes on a more vulnerable feel through a simple piano arrangement and her expressive vocals. Co-written with hit songwriter Mike Mobley and producer Ash Bowers, it delivers a relatable message about recognizing your worth and refusing to change simply to meet other people's expectations.
Rather than trying to appeal to everyone, Lemmings embraces the idea that the right people will appreciate her for who she truly is. The new arrangement brings that message into sharper focus, allowing the lyrics and emotional delivery to take center stage.
The release also leads into the official music video premiere on Monday, October 26, at 1 p.m. ET (noon CT) on Lemmings' YouTube channel. Fans can find the premiere here.
The new release follows a busy season for the 20-year-old artist. On October 19, Lemmings made her debut at Song Suffragettes, the Nashville songwriter series known for showcasing female country artists. Its past performers include Ashley McBryde, Kelsea Ballerini, Carly Pearce, and Lauren Alaina.
She also recently performed in the United Kingdom, appearing at Country Calling Festival, playing a sold-out headlining show at York's Forty-Five Vinyl Café, and performing to an at-capacity crowd at Symphony Hall in Birmingham.
Lemmings is scheduled to perform at the second annual Quartz Hill Music Group Takeover at Chief's on Broadway in Nashville on November 16. The event is free and open to the public until capacity is reached. More details and ticket reservations are available here.
