Tom Clancy's The Division Release Date News: Ubisoft Says 2015, Only For Xbox 1, PS4 and PC
"Tom Clancy's The Division" was originally scheduled for release in the third or fourth quarter of 2014. But Ubisoft recently announced that it would launch the game in 2015 and they are still working on it. The development work is handed over to 3 studios at a time - Ubisoft Red Storm, Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft Reflections. The new game would only be available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC sources said ruling out possibilities for the platforms.
Ubisoft Massive's managing director stated the reason for the delay is very obvious since there are over 400 people working on a highly advanced next gen hardware platform, while trying to build a best game with a 90+ metacritic. It is difficult to judge the date of such a massive project he stated. We are just taking our time to build the best game ever made till date, he said.
Lots of new interesting features would be added to the game. Yeah, but The Division would not be available for Xb360 or PS3. Just because, it uses the Snowdrop engine that powers the Division from start. It is tailored to suit the current consoles, and the earlier consoles had very different functions altogether.
Though fans are eager to experience the new Division, they will have to wait until 2015 to see it live. Though it seems like a lot of time to wait, but believe us it would be worth it. You would be playing the latest technologically advanced game that nobody has ever played. So, get ready for the new ride.
