The Legend of Zelda Wii U has been drawing a lot of attention. In fact, the buzz around this game has heightened with Nintendo repeatedly talking about how passionately the team is working on expanding the series' open world environment, which the world has already experienced in their E3 2014 presentation.
Zelda Wii U trailer and first look in a form of an engaging video has already revealed that gamers will enjoy roaming free in an open world environment. Even Nintendo designer Eiji Aonuma talked about how there are no set guidelines, scenarios, or paths to be followed in this new offering.
Release Date
Nintendo has been quite secretive about Zelda Wii U release date with no official statement on when the game is set to be launched. However, after many efforts, there have been speculations from trusted sources that it is not expected to be released before 2015. You can expect it to be playable by E3 conference next year.
Gamers' Petition
Recent after the tragic demise of iconic Robin Williams, more than 50,000 gamers have signed a petition asking Nintendo to name a NPC after the great actor. When Nintendo told Polygon that they have loved Robin Williams, rumors sparked that Nintendo team is working on a special bundle or game play trailer accepting the petition. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.
Link, A Girl This Time?
Recent Zelda Wii U news claimed that Link, center playable character in the game, is going to be a girl. There was a lot of buzz around the news with gamers discussing the possible changes. However, game's developer has denied these rumors putting end to Link's possible gender transformation.
A Possible Multiplayer
While speculating Zelda Wii U release date, gamers are also busy discussing what features it will have in store. Nintendo has already talked about rethinking the Zelda conventions like completing the dungeons in a certain order or playing all by yourself. Now gamers have all the reasons to believe that the new Zelda will be a lot different from what they have seen in the past and given the multiplayer trend, this new game will also feature engaging multiplayer options.
