Warcraft Fans!! Warcraft Movie Release Date, Spoilers Revealed
Warcraft is an American action and fantasy film directed by Duncan Jones, which was initially announced to be released by December of 2015, but then moved the schedule to March of 2016, about 2 years from now. It is to be released by Universal Pictures, and being produced and developed by Legendary Pictures in collaboration with Blizzard Entertainment and Atlas Entertainment.
It was announced ten years ago in 2006 and began shooting on January 13, 2014, just this year.
The fantasy film is based on the popular online role playing video game called by the same name, also called World of Warcraft, which was originally developed by Blizzard Entertainment, an American video game creator and publisher. The movie stars Ben Foster as "Medivh", Travis Fimmel as "Anduin Lothar", Paula Patton as "Garona Halforcen", and Dominic Cooper as "Liane Wrynn".
The major characters of the film are surely well-known to fans and players of the online video game, but for those who are unfamiliar with the plot and story behind it, here's what it's about.
Rumors suggest that the film centers on the first contact between humans and "orcs" as they are called, who are one of the most important figures of the game, and who are portrayed as a race of savages, but recently portrayed as nobles. They came from a world called "Draenor" and were tricked to serving destroying demons. They devoted their time to magic and were able to enter another dimension, a portal to the world of humans called "Azeroth".
The exact date of the release of the film is on March 11, 2016.
