Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Premiere, Latest News: Entire Cast Plus Two New Housewives To Be Seen In Next Season's Show
Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 may likely premiere on November 2, the first Sunday in November, based on Wet Paint's reading of a tweet message from cast member Phaedra Parks to a well-wishing fan and the observation that the show has indeed premiered on the first Sunday in November for the past couple of years.
Aside from Phaedra, the rest of last season's entire cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta will be back for next season. According to The Wrap, insiders have revealed that Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, NeNe Leakes, Phaedra Parks, Porsha Stewart and Kenya Moore are all already in the final stages of their contract negotiations. Reality Tea hinted that Claudia Jordan and Demetria McKinney may also be joining the cast of the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7. If Demetria makes it, we can expect tension and some possible drama between her and Kenya Moore as they seem to be both linked to Roger Bobb, an executive producer in the Rickey Smiley Show.
Previously, there was speculation that NeNe Leakes, who has been with the show since its October 7, 2008, debut, will not be returning for Season 7. In an interview with E!Online, NeNe said, "For me, It's like a blessing and a curse. It has definitely opened up so many doors and opportunities for me. I have been able to do some of everything just from being on this platform. But at the same time, it can be very negative and very draining and all of things. But also, it can put a lot of money in my pocket. Not just the show, I'm saying, other things come to you."
According to The Wrap, Season 6 of the show was the highest rated season across all of Bravo's key demos, including an average 2 million viewers in the advertiser-coveted Adults 18-49 demo. Real Housewives of Atlanta averaged 3.5 million viewers per episode last season.
