Wolverine 3 is a fictional action film produced by 20th Century Fox and Marvel Entertainment, directed by James Mangold, based on the super hero character Wolverine from the most popular American comic Book X-Men, created and published by Marvel Comics, who are also famous for creating and publishing other titles, such as The Fantastic Four, The Hulk, Spider Man, and other well-known titles, super heroes and fictional characters, that were also turned into successful movies.
Wolverine 3 was being developed from 2009 and was already released internationally, last year on July 24, 2013. It was reported and announced by 20th Century Fox that a sequel to the movie is to be released 3 years from now, by March 3, 2017, including The Fantastic Four.
The characters of the super hero film are acted by Hugh Jackman as Logan the Wolverine who also portrayed the same character in the previous X-Men movies, others include Tao Okamato as Mariko, Rila Fukushima as Yukio, Hiroyuki Sanada as Shingen, Svetlana Khodchenkova as Viper, Brian Tee as Noburo and others.
The movie was filmed in Japan and Australia.
The story behind the movie centers on the lead figure Wolverine who is said to struggle within him and immortality. He is immortal and every one whom he loves dies. He is pushed to the limits and is later to rise powerful than ever.
The upcoming sequel to the film that was released in 2013 had been confirmed, by the year 2017, but the plot and title remains unknown at this time.
