'Extant' CBS Sci-fi Show News! 'Fighting to Stay Alive' as Halle Berry Defines the Word
Extant is a new CBS sci-fi show that is currently in its first season. Extant was created by Mickey Fisher with Steven Spielberg as its executive director. The show was first released last July 9 this year. Out of first season's 13 episodes, ten have already been shown with the 11th episode due to be release in September 3.

Extant Background Story
The show started with an opening introduction by Halle Berry, "I went to space on a 13-month solo mission. I didn't come home alone. My husband created a life-like android called a 'Humanich'. His name is Ethan: he's the prototype..."
Molly Woods is an ISEA astronaut who went on a solo space mission that lasted for 13 months. When she came back to Earth, she was surprised to find out that she is pregnant. Molly is eager and determined to know how.
Extant Definition
The Hollywood Reporter interviewed Halle Berry and asked her what does the word "Extant" means. She replied, "It means to be in existence. The name is great because that's what our show is about is fighting to stay alive."
Miss Berry adds, "At the end of the day, we are going to be fighting for humanity to exist. I don't think there could be a better title actually."
