Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Season 2 Release Date, Latest Updates, News, and Casts: Photo Released for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Season 2
There are new images being released for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2. Included on the first set of photos is the photo of Director Agent Coulson. He is actually sitting on his new head office. Such image was from the Entertainment Weekly's upcoming issue.
In the said photo, here's the statement from Jeff Bell, executive producer of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2.
"How's this for an extreme makeover? Last May, S.H.I.E.L.D. was dismantled after being infiltrated by the terrorist organisation Hydra. Now it's time for Director Couson (Clark Gregg, above) and his team to rebuild and save the day, with a little help from Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), the former director. Their new headquarters, buried safely underground, in a reconverted SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve) bunker from WWII, will be "authentically vintage. Of course, Fury has tricked it out with a few updates and a handful of cool toys."
With some other news for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2, Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse better known as Mockingbird joined the season 2 though we will see her on the 5th episode of season 2. Aside from Palicki, Brian Patrick Wade also confirmed that he will play the role of Cusher Creel- The Absorbing Man. Unlike Palicki, Wade will appear on the premier of season 2 show.
The Absorbing Man was described as "With his ability to absorb the properties of anything he touches, Creel will put Coulson and his team through their paces when their second season kicks off...but you'll have to wait until then to see how their battle turns out!"
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 will start on September 23, 2014 at 9PM ET as the show's new timeslot at ABC.
