Nokia Lumia 1525 Specs and release date: Specs of Nokia's newest phablet is an upgrade of Nokia Lumia 1520, No release date confirmed
Nokia Lumia 1525 news: As Nokia's flagship phablet (a gadget that combines the features of a phone and a tablet), Nokia Lumia 1520, was well-received by consumers, many have been wondering when a follow-up device will be released.
It seems that Nokia loyalists will be in for quite a wait as the planned Nokia Lumia 1525 release date has yet to be announced.
What is certain, however, is that Nokia Lumia 1525 specs are an upgrade of its predecessor. Reports revealed that Nokia Lumia 1525 will run on Windows 8.1 and will be powered by a Snapdragon 801 processor, said to be more powerful than Nokia Lumia 1520's SoC processor. It will also have 3GB of RAM, a 3,400mAh battery, and microSD card support.
Nokia Lumia 1525 is equipped with Cortana, a mobile personal assistant considered to be a combination of Google Now and Siri. Nokia Lumia 1525's pull-down notification center offers a convenient way to access calls, messages, and social media updates from the phone's 6-inch, full HD (1440x2560, 490 ppi) display. A 20MP rear camera captures photos on the go.
Rumors of a possible solar-powered display have surfaced online, but remain unlikely.
Nokia Lumia 1525 price is estimated to be just a few dollars higher than Nokia Lumia 1520; stay tuned for the latest updates.
