'Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Men Tell no Tales' Has Been Set Release Date of Movie Announced

Who doesn't love Captain Jack Sparrow? Everybody loves him and Disney knows that. So Johnny Depp, the man playing the iconic role is set to come back to reprise his role for the fifth installment of the film and everybody's been waiting to find out the release date.

Recently, news about the latest film installment has been released and here's what we have so far. The release date has been set for July 7, 2017. It was first reported that the film should be released by 2016 but producers felt that there is no need to rush the release date. They have decided that the readiness of the script must be of the utmost importance.

But because of the release date schedule, the movie will be having a tough competition as Fantastic Four Reboot and Despicable Me 3 are set to be released on July 14 and June 30, respectively, that same year. That's a pretty stiff competition but the producers don't seem to mind.

As for the casting, the only thing that's confirmed is that Johnny Depp will return. As for the others, they are still only rumors. Christoph Waltz, an Academy Award winning actor is rumored to be playing Captain Brand. Rumors are also circulating that Keith Richards, Geoffrey Rush and Jack Davenport will come back to play their characters again. Penelope Cruz and Orlando Bloom may also return if this film will be the last of its installment.

The four movies of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has reportedly earned $3.7 billion in total and the latest one, the fourth installment, has earned more than $1 billion alone. These are pretty huge numbers and they have proven that the fan base of the franchise is really big, making it very successful.
