Blackberry Q20: Another Innovative Creation Know its Release Date and Some other Specifications
Blackberry, a once powerful company who use to have a 40 percent share on the cellular phone market is now playing the catching up game against the tech giants that like Samsung and Apple. Currently controlling 4 percent of the cellular phone market, Blackberry aims to get back on its feet and prove that they are a competitive company that can come up with competitive phones for the consumers.
In a bid to get back a piece of the market, Blackberry has come up with the Blackberry Q20. Its release date has been set for the fourth quarter of 2014, around September or October. Blackberry CEO John Chen has set to sell 10 million handsets by the end of 2014 and the Blackberry Q20 is its latest offering so he can achieve his goal.
The Blackberry Q20 is a fusion of the old and the new. Like the Blackberry Q10, has a QWERT/Touch plus navigation. The trackpad has also been improved for better user handling. The touch screen will be generous at 3.5". The battery will be large which probably means more talking time. Design-wise, the handset will be made for "reliability and durability". The casing will be made only from the best "premium materials" as stated by the CEO himself, John Chen.
For CEO John Chen to reach his 10 million sales target, he has made the Blackberry Q20 more user-friendly by putting it in the mid-priced handsets. Unlike the other smart phones that costs at a higher price, this Blackberry OS 10 run handset will be more affordable. No further specifications on the inside hardware of the phone yet, but people can't wait to get their hands on the new Blackberry Q20.
