'Da Vinci Code 3': More Intriguing Revelations to Wait For, Release Date and Teasers Announced

 Da Vinci Code 3 is a mystery film adaptation of Dan Brown's latest and 4^th novel book of the same name also titled "Inferno". It is a third installment in the movie series "Da Vinci Code" first released in 2006, directed by Ron Howard and produced by John Calley and Brian Grazer. It was distributed by Sony's Columbia Pictures.

The mystery thriller movie is a sequel to the second film titled "Angels and Demons" which was released in 2009, also directed by Ron Howard and based on Dan Brown's novel of the same name.

Tom Hanks is said to return to the set after acting as the main fictional figure in the previous two films named "Robert Langdon" who is a religious Symbology University Professor created by the author Dan Brown.

A third movie which was titled The Lost Symbol was said to originally follow the 2^nd film Angels and Demons but was put on hold, as the production was moved to Inferno.

The story of the movie franchise begins with a University Professor of Symbology who had an appointment to meet with the Curator of the Louvre Museum in Paris, but was later surprised to find out about his murder, and unaware of his position as a suspect to the Police, he sets out to investigate the crime.

Later on, he discovers alongside cryptologist Sophie Neveu that the bloodline of Jesus was actually carried on by Mary Magdalene, who was symbolized by the Holy Grail, and was thought for a very long time to be a physical chalice.

The movie series is known to be rich and full of religious and symbolical mysteries and thrill! Those who already watched the beginnings of the series are sure to be intrigued by the symbols portrayed in the movies and may wonder about the actual mystery behind it all!

The release date of the upcoming sequel is said to hit the big screen on December 18, 2015!
