Thor the movie is a superhero film from Marvel Studios which since its inception in 2011 won the hearts of fans with its exciting and very intense plot. The movie which is about the crown prince of Asgard and his life after he was banished to earth brings to the audience exciting and adventurous experience of the 'god of thunder' and it sure does leave the audience breathless.

The movie had its sequel produced in 2013 and it was dubbed the dark world which again was a complete success for the producers and actors and with a budget of only $170 million the movie was able to come up with a mind-blowing $644 million in the box office. The movie which had been produced only two years after its first movie clearly was yet another success for the makers of Thor. Now rumours about the third instalment are already circulating with the most prominent one being about the plot of the movie. Rumours are going round that the movie will be based on Ragnarok which is the Asgardian apocalypse which will bring the end of their world.

The Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige confirmed in an interview with Collider that the return of both Thor and Captain America in their solo movies for the third instalments is certain. "Cap has already been announced, so that's up first. That's in the further stage. Thor is being outlined right now, so both in the works," Feige stated.

Rumours have also been going around that if the third instalment of Thor is going to follow the Ragnarok plot, then there is a possibility that Tony Stark might be involved in the movie as well. However, these are simply speculations. We just have to wait for the third instalment to be released. However, we are hoping for more spoilers as we approach the release of the movie which is not exactly certain though it has been rumoured that it could be released in 2017 or even in 2018.
