Samsung has managed to sustain its reign over the phablet era having sold over 60 million Galaxy Note phablets (a combination of phone and tablet) in the past few years. Now at the peak of Samsung's success, the much - awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date coincided with its main Unpacked event during the IFA 2014 in Berlin. Recently, there were some leaked Samsung Galaxy Note 4 images that made its way around the internet. As seen in the pictures, its design holds a close resemblance to the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Alpha. The general aesthetics of the smartphone includes a metal frame that adds to its premium feel and at the same time keeps it lightweight.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 specs includes the Galaxy Note 3's 5.7 - inch display size although this time, compared to the Note 3's 1920x1080 Full HD display, the Note 4 boasts a Quad HD display with a 2560x1440 resolution. It is also believed that the Note 4's RAM will be increased to 4 GB.

As for its camera capabilities, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will include a high-end 16-megapixel rear camera with optimal stabilization and 3.68-megapixel front camera. Its internal storage shall accommodate up to 32 GB worth of memory.

When it comes to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 price, it is already expected to be about $299.
