Peanuts movie in 3D to celebrate 65 years of Peanuts laughter and fun, Release Date set to 2015
After 65 years, Snoopy and the Peanuts gang are finally getting a modern adaptation of their adventures and misadventures. The Peanuts movie 3D will be produced by Blue Sky Studios under the wing of 20th Century Fox. The movie is being done in commemoration of the comic's 65 year as well as to celebrate the 50th anniversary of "A Charlie Brown Christmas". Blue Sky Studio has been credited in several animation movie such as Ice Age, Epic and Rio.
Even if the Peanuts movie will be the fifth movie that will be based off the comic strip, it has been reported that it will be the first that will be based on the characters themselves in 35 years. It will be written by Bryan Schulz, Craig Schulz and Cornelius Uliano while it will be directed by Steve Marino.
The Peanuts movie trailer features a 3D-fied Charlie Brown and Snoopy where they are shown up to their old trick as they have always done. What's great is that Charlie Brown even mutters his iconic "Good grief" in the trailer. Though the Peanuts movie trailer doesn't show much major spoilers, fans will be delighted to know that the crew is very much complete in the upcoming animated film.
Unfortunately, there has been no news on who are the Peanuts movie 2015 cast yet but we'll keep out an eye for you.
Peanuts movie is scheduled to be released on November 2015 and it is entitled as "Snoopy & Charlie Brown: A Peanuts Movie" in the United Kingdom.
