'Annabelle Movie' Release Date and Teasers: its Curse Continues to Rage in Cinemas
Annabelle is a new and upcoming horror film being produced by New Line Cinema in association with Atomic Monster and The Safran Company.
It is being produced by James Wan, directed by John R. Leonetti and written by Gary Dauberman.
It is said to be a spinoff and a prequel of the horror movie called "The Conjuring" which was released in 2013 and was directed by James Wan, who is currently the producer of the upcoming spinoff.
The film stars actress Annabelle Wallis as Allison Gordon and Ward Horton as Johnny Gordon who is the husband of Allison.
The story is about a rare vintage doll in a wedding dress called by the name "Annabelle" that was found by Allison's husband, who later presents it to her as a gift when they were expecting a child.
Thought to be a perfect present, later one night, it was said that group members of an occult unexpectedly intruded the couple's home and attacked them. These cult members later summoned an evil spirit that took possession of the doll.
The prequel mainly centers on the origin of the haunted doll Annabelle and how it came to be, before the story of the previous film "The Conjuring" takes place.
Later in the film, the couples bear the responsibility of exorcising the evil spirit possessing the doll, calling paranormal experts for aid and help.
