Motorola plans to release the Moto X via Amazon. The phone will be distributed in stores all over Asia, North America, Latin America and Europe. The Moto X is scheduled to be released this third or fourth week of September this year.

Depending on the phone's options and casing, the price can range from $500 USD up to$580 USD. But if you get the Moto X from your carrier, the price may reach a low contract price of just about $99 USD. The contract price will also depend if you avail the 16 or 32 GB internal storage option.

Android Pit reports that Moto X models with a soft touch 16 GB black base can be availed for only $499 USD. Customizing your Moto X phones using the MotoMaker can cost you $529 USD for the 16 GB and $579n USD for the 32 GB.

In the UK, a complete customized Moto X can cost the British consumer up to 420 GBP.

Moto X uses the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. Its processor is powered by the Snapdragon 801 from Qualcomm. Its graphic processor is run by an Adreno 330 at 578 MHz. It has 2GB of RAM and internal storage of 16 GB or 32 GB.

The MotoX battery has a convenient feature that owners will surely appreciate. The battery can be turbo charged for 15 minutes and it will give the user a maximum 8 hours battery life.
