'The Legend of Korra' Video Gamers Awaits for Avatar's next Game Sequel, Release Date and Other Update Right Here
The Legend of Korra is an upcoming third person video game being developed by Platinum Games for the Playstation 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and also for Microsoft Windows.
It will be published by Activision, an American video game publisher founded in 1979.
The video game is originally based on the American animated television series titled by the same name which premiered on Nickelodeon TV network in 2012, and was created by Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino as a sequel to their previous work called Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Another game is said to being developed at the same time for the Nintendo 3DS platform which will be called The Legend of Korra: A New Era Begins.
The story of the game, being based on the television series, is said to focus on the main fictional character named "Korra" whom gamers will have control over, and her bending abilities, while fighting villains who were introduced in the first 2 seasons of the animated series.
The main event of the game will be set between the 2nd and 3rd seasons of the series.
Korra is said to have bending capabilities, a practice allowing those who practice it to manipulate the elements of water, earth, fire and air. It is said that players of the game can switch between these elements on the fly at any time, while in each element having special moves!
Water-bending, as it is called, allows the player to make long ranged attacks. Earth-bending is said to make the player slow but powerful, while Air-bending makes them faster! Fire-bending is said to also make the players move fast but make close ranged attacks.
The expected date of the release is said to be on October 21 and 22 of this year 2014!
