'The Affair' Preview and Teaser: A Sizzling and a Sinful Drama From Showtime, Coming To Your Television Screen This October 24! [VIDEO]

After watching The Affair's teaser, I must admit that the story is quite intriguing. It shows the facet of extra-marital affair from the point of view of both parties - male and female.

The Affair video also gave us a hint that something mysterious and horrible did happen. We just have to watch if 'The Affair' caused it. A murder plot maybe? It is quite a relief that the The Affair's story has its own twist and turns and it will not be the run-of-the-mill story where guy meets girl then we know the rest.

The Affair's synopsis told us that the story revolves around Noah, a school teacher from New York who is also a novelist and is happily married, and Allision, a young and beautiful waitress who is trying to get her life and her marriage back on track after a tragedy. The story is set at Montauk, Long Island. The story begins with Noah and Allison meeting at the Hamptons. From the teaser, it was obvious that they have an instant connection but both were aware that they are married and what they are doing is wrong.

The Affair release date is on October 12, 2014 at 10PM ET. The Affair stars are Dominic West (Noah) and Ruth Wilson (Allison). Joshua Jackson (Cole) plays the role of Allision's husband and Maura Tierney (Helen) plays the part of Noah's wife for 17 years. Helen is Noah's college sweetheart and they have kids together. Cole and Allison is trying to get by but both are financially strained. The show is written by Sarah Treem, an award-winning playwright and screenwriter and Hagai Levi. The Affair is directed by Jeffrey Reiner.
