The Isaacs Appearing on RFD-TV’s "Larry’s Country Diner"
The Isaacs sang four songs from their recent Billboard chart-topping release, The Living Years (Gaither Music Group), including their version of the popular country hit "Grandpa (Tell Me ‘Bout the Good Old Days)," originally recorded by The Judds, the classic favorite "Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive," and a moving, a capella rendition of the Dottie Rambo hit, "If That Isn’t Love." To top it off, they finished their set by performing their current radio single, "Walk Together Children," another a capella tune that features a signature voice of Southern Gospel legend Bill Gaither singing the "boom boom" bass part.
In a press release, group member Lily Isaacs talked about the wonderful time they had on the show, saying, "We had such a great time being a part of this down-home show and they made us feel right at home. This program really does a good job of entertaining viewers, celebrating country and gospel music, remembering special moments in history and keeping its fans up-to-date on what is going on in the lives of many artists. What a fun day with Larry and the team!"
The group currently has three Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove nominations for the 2013 awards show including Song of the Year and Southern Gospel Performance of the Year for "Why Can’t We". Group member Ben Isaacs, has a total of seven nominations including a nod for Producer of the Year. The Isaacs will perform at this year’s Dove Awards program to be held in Nashville, Tennessee at the Allen Arena on Tuesday, October 15, 2013.
