'The Seventh Son' Latest News and Update: Plot, Cast, and Why the Screening Date Has Been Delayed

The Seventh Son release date is scheduled on February 6, 2015 but according to the movie news site Screen Rant, the movie should have been shown in February of 2013. The cause of the two-year delay was due to a breakdown in the working relationship between the film maker Legendary Pictures and the film distributor Warner Bros. The film is now going to be distributed by Universal Pictures instead, as reported by Screen Rant.

The producers have just released the second trailer for this fantasy adventure movie. The Seventh Son trailer can be watched here. This trailer features some awesome beasts rendered in CGI.

Screen Rant has also posted the Seventh Son storyline. The Seventh Son movie is directed by Sergei Bodrov.

Background of the Seventh Son

The film is an adaption of the novel, "The Spook's Apprentice / Revenge of the Witch." The book is written by Joseph Delaney. Aside from Delaney, three other writers wrote the script namely Charles Leavitt, Matt Greenberg, and Steve Knight.
