The Scribbler Release Date: The Scribbler Film Story Plot Revealed
XLrator has scheduled "The Scribbler" to be released on September 19 via VOD, theaters, and iTunes. The writer of the film is Daniel Schaffer, who also wrote and illustrated the 2006 graphic novel in which this film is actually based.
"Suki (Katie Cassidy), a young woman confronting her destructive mental illness using "The Siamese Burn," an experimental machine designed to eliminate multiple personalities. The closer Suki comes to being "cured," she's haunted by a thought... what if the last unwanted identity turns out to be her?"
Story Plot:
The story revolves around a woman suffering from multiple personality disorder and committed to a mental institution. While at the hospital, she is given an experimental procedure known as 'The Siamese Burn'. Such experiment is actually designed to delete all of the other personalities she has except her main one. Now, after such treatment she needs to be transferred to halfway house in order to monitor her recovery. While being in that 'recovery house' some of the residents are dying in alarming rate. This is the mystery she has to solve or die herself.
The lead stars in the film are Michael Imperioli, Garret Dillahunt, Billy Campbell, Michelle Trachtenberg, Sasha Grey, Ashlynn Yennie, Gina Gershon, Eliza Dushku, and Kunal Nayyar.
The movie is set to be released on September 19.
