Vampire Diaries Season 6 Spoilers, Trailer, Episode 1 Preview, Cast And Rumors: New Cast Members Joining The Vampire Diaries As Ian Somerhalder Teases The Killing Off Of His Character Damon
We have the latest for you on the spoilers, trailer, episode 1 preview, cast and rumors of Vampire Diaries season 6. Vampire Diaries cast stars Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder attended a Vampire Diaries convention held in Las Vegas at Rio Hotel and Casino to share their experiences with fans. The event was held on Saturday 13th. With the premiere date of the Vampire Diaries set on Thursday, October 2nd at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, a new extended trailer has been released that gives fans more insight on what to expect in the new season.
New cast members including; Marco James, Colin Ferguson, Gabrielle Walsh, Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, Chris Wood and Jayson Warner Smith are set to make an appearance as new faces in the upcoming season 6 of the Vampire Diaries. There are reports that Emily C. will be a guest star in season 6 and she plays as Ivy.
Actress Kat Graham hinted to TV line on the return of Bonnie in season 6 yet she stated she did not know for how long and in a statement she teased saying, "just as shocked as the next person at how season five ended. I've been on the show for five years, and I cried when I watched the finale."
"Rest in peace Damon Salvatore. #Gameover" this was the caption on an Instagram picture posted by Somerhalder who plays as Damon. Beside the photo is a tombstone reading Damon in an eerie graveyard. This has driven fans crazy, was he just messing with fans heads or is he foretelling what to expect in this new season? Many believe he was just trying to create false spoilers.
"[The season five finale] defiantly establishes new parameters in the environment we'll be shooting in season six. They reset things in a way that the writers have the ability to now change the circumstances and location of where the show takes place," Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore) told TV Guide of a possibly story reset in the new season.
Photos of season six premiere entitled "Fresh starts and second Chances" reveals the change in the story line as Alaric now a vampire and a college professor gets in the middle to stop Tyler from making the same mistake as in season one. Tyler gets in a fight with a blonde at a football tailgate and it's Alaric who stops him instead of Stefan; he tries to stop Tyler from re-triggering the curse. Surely this is a new season which by the looks of it will be full of surprises.
