Bad Boys 3 News, Updates and Spoilers! Are Our Favorite Detectives Finally Making A Comeback?
After over a decade, it looks like our favorite detectives are coming back to the big screen. Bad Boys 2 was released last 2003 and we think "Finally!" this third installment has been long overdue. The story of the movie focuses on Martin Lawrence and Will Smith who are detectives trying to catch bad boys.
After the second installment of the franchise, fans have been begging for a third movie. Bad Boys 2 was a smashing success. It earned double their budget and much more than the first movie did. Truly, the Smith-Lawrence tandem is loved by all, especially when collaborated by the genius mastermind director, Michael Bay.
Since then, fans have been asking for an addition to the franchise and it wasn't only until last August when Lawrence was interviewed in Conan, he announced that the movie is finally going to happen and that the script was almost done. In that interview, Lawrence also revealed that he spoke to the movie's producer. "He said it's real, they're working on the script, they're getting close, and it all looks good."
Will Smith hasn't confirmed being on board yet. Reports say that he is not interested in playing Detective Mike Lowrey again. Bruckheimer even expressed that it is difficult for him to get Will Smith in on the deal because he has a very busy schedule. We're keeping our fingers crossed that the duo will come back together for the movie!
