Kingdom Hearts 3 Update: New Developments on the KH3 Production
It is a common knowledge that "Kingdom Hearts 3" is in its early phase of production. Recent developments may even make it possible to hit the rumored 2016 target release. New reports reveal that Tetsuya Nomura, the renowned game director who headed the "Final Fantasy XV" is now moving on to take on "Kingdom Hearts 3" development. This is exhilarating news for all Kingdom Hearts fans as Tetsuya Nomura is indeed known for creating awesome games.
This report was confirmed when Square Enix, creator of both Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts games assured their fans and gamers that Nomura's temporary shift to "Kingdom Hearts 3" will not hinder the production of "Final Fantasy XV." In fact, Hajime Tabata, who spearheaded "Final Fantasy Type - 0" and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy II" will be taking over Nomura's position. This will provide continuous development of both games at the same time.
This move, according to Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda is part of a developmental restructure within the organization. Nomura was moved so he could focus his efforts in producing titles that only he can produce. He is also expected to come up with products that far exceed their predecessors. One of these titles is of course "Kingdom Hearts 3".
It has also been confirmed sometime in June that Haley Joel Osment, longtime voice actor for Sora, the recurring character of "Kingdom Hearts," is coming back to give voice to the character.
Another newsworthy piece of information is that the "Kingdom Hearts 3" may have some kind of an online component. Although this has not been confirmed yet, the possibility excited many. The career ad posted in Square Enix website shows that the company is looking for a famous game developer is looking for a Network Programmer to work on an "online multiplayer game." Even though there is a possibility that it is not for "Kingdom Hearts 3," it would still be very awesome if they turn the third installment of this great series into a MMORPG. That would definitely give fans a totally new "Kingdom Hearts" gaming experience.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is the third installment of the series. It will feature a now older Sora as he sets out on an adventure along with King Mickey, Donald, and Goofy.
