Hallmark Christmas Movies in November

Hallmark has announced the dates for their November Christmas movies. This year, the network will introduce its first-ever Christmas programming event, "Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas," featuring an ample assemblage of Christmas films that will please the whole family with over 1200 hours of Christmas TV. The "Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas" will feature the network's original holiday movies as well as Christmas Classics.

Hallmark Christmas Movies:

The Christmas Ornament - Kathy, who is newly widowed, plans to skip Christmas in order to avoid anything that will bring back memories of her late husband. Her only concession to the holiday will be to bake cookies for her friends because she loves baking. Tim, a handsome Christmas tree shop owner, gives her a simple gift - an ornament - and it symbolizes hope for a future life without her husband by her side.

Catch A Christmas Star  - Nikki Crandon is one of the biggest pop stars on the planet and everyone knows who she is, especially New Jersey high school basketball coach and widower Chris Mitchell, who was Nikki's first love in high school. When his 10-year-old daughter Sophie finds out that her dad still has feelings for the singer, she sets out to reunite the two with the help of her 8-year-old brother, Jackson. But fame and the spotlight cause problems and Christmas may not be very merry for the reunited loves.

It Happened on 5^th Avenue - The 1947 classic finds Aloyisius T. McKeever, a homeless man living in New York City, making his home in a boarded-up Fifth Avenue mansion, using the back door, while its owner, multi-millionaire Michael J. O'Connor spends the winter in the South. In a "wow, it is a small world" way, McKeever winds up taking in a homeless ex-G.I. named Jim Bullock, who has been evicted from an apartment building O'Connor is tearing down for a new skyscraper and an 18-year-old runaway Trudy "Smith" who, unbeknownst to him, is O'Connor's daughter. Before long, Jim invites his war buddies Whitey and Hank, as well as their families, to share the huge mansion while they look for homes of their own. Everything is going well for the misfit family until Trudy falls for Jim and romance complicates things.

Window Wonderland - McGuire's department store has one opening for their window dresser position and Sloan Van Doren, a serious and driven young woman, is determined to get it and uphold a 95-year old artistic holiday tradition. Jake Dooley, the only other contender for the job, is as happy-go-lucky as it gets. When Mr. Fitch, the head of advertising and promotion, sets up a competition to see who will do a better job, the fireworks begin. The two are to create a series of seasonal storefront windows twice a week until Christmas. The creator of whichever window display gets the most attention from passersby will get the job. The budding attraction between the two makes for an interesting competition.

Fir Crazy  - Elise MacReynolds is a busy career woman who has no time nor desire to take part in any Christmas festivities. Fate has other ideas though. Elise finds herself in the middle of her worst nightmare: unemployed, newly single and running her family's Christmas tree lot for the dreaded holiday season. Darren, a handsome customer, starts turning her attitude around but the lot's new landlord, Gary Dixon, tries to smash it to pieces when he sets out to close the lot down.

George works through his grief while learning to be a man by helping his grandparents and farmland community through a series of dangerous winter storms. Though his life has changed, for George, Christmas promises to be one to remember, as he learns first-hand the importance of responsibility, the faithfulness of friends and the power of love.

Christmas in Connecticut  - In the 1945 classic, comedy ensues when Elizabeth Lane, a single food-writer in Manhattan. pretends to be a country wife and mother in her column. When Mr. Alexander Yardley, the magazine publisher, decides that she should host Jefferson Jones, a returning war hero, at her country house over the Christmas holidays, problems arise as to where to get a husband, family and country house quickly!
