Hallmark has announced the dates for their November Christmas movies. This year, the network will introduce its first-ever Christmas programming event, "Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas," featuring an ample assemblage of Christmas films that will please the whole family with over 1200 hours of Christmas TV. The "Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas" will feature the network's original holiday movies as well as Christmas Classics.

The Christmas Ornament
The Christmas Ornament - Kathy, who is newly widowed, plans to skip Christmas in order to avoid anything that will bring back memories of her late husband. Her only concession to the holiday will be to bake cookies for her friends because she loves baking. Tim, a handsome Christmas tree shop owner, gives her a simple gift - an ornament - and it symbolizes hope for a future life without her husband by her side.

It Happened on 5th Avenue - The 1947 classic finds Aloyisius T. McKeever, a homeless man living in New York City, making his home in a boarded-up Fifth Avenue mansion, using the back door, while its owner, multi-millionaire Michael J. O'Connor spends the winter in the South. In a "wow, it is a small world" way, McKeever winds up taking in a homeless ex-G.I. named Jim Bullock, who has been evicted from an apartment building O'Connor is tearing down for a new skyscraper and an 18-year-old runaway Trudy "Smith" who, unbeknownst to him, is O'Connor's daughter. Before long, Jim invites his war buddies Whitey and Hank, as well as their families, to share the huge mansion while they look for homes of their own. Everything is going well for the misfit family until Trudy falls for Jim and romance complicates things.

Window Wonderland - McGuire's department store has one opening for their window dresser position and Sloan Van Doren, a serious and driven young woman, is determined to get it and uphold a 95-year old artistic holiday tradition. Jake Dooley, the only other contender for the job, is as happy-go-lucky as it gets. When Mr. Fitch, the head of advertising and promotion, sets up a competition to see who will do a better job, the fireworks begin. The two are to create a series of seasonal storefront windows twice a week until Christmas. The creator of whichever window display gets the most attention from passersby will get the job. The budding attraction between the two makes for an interesting competition.
