'Facebook' Latest News: Are You Willing to Pay $2.99 a Month Just to Use Facebook?

There had been reports going around that Facebook is going to charge its users $2.99 per month.  Some sources say that the report is false and it originated from a National Report.  They've even created a YouTube video about the report.  While some sources claim that the report is false, other says it's already happening. 

According to National Report, CEO Mark Zuckerberg said, "After thinking long and hard about this decision, at the end of the day, we were forced to add this monthly fee.  If we don't do something about our rising costs now, Facebook could cease to exist in the near future."

National Report even quoted Facebook's spokesman Paul Horner saying, "Economic times are tight, the ads on Facebook are not as profitable as we had planned. Our costs are going up as hundreds of thousands of individuals continue to join the site every day.  There's so many pictures of cats, and all of those costs add up, we just can't foot the bill any longer."

The news over the Internet is still divided - some say it is true while other says the reports, in which, Facebook will charge $2.99 per month to its users, is fake and completely false.  Is Facebook really in financial trouble?  And if so, are users willing to pay that kind of money just to keep their Facebook account?  With new free apps emerging every day that allows users to communicate with each other, why pay if there are other social media sites that we can use to keep tab of each other.  Maybe others are now toying with the idea of how their lives would be without Facebook. But is it really going to be such a lost?  Facebook users will just have to wait for more details to unfold.
