'Scandal' Season 4 Spoilers: What to Expect From The Premiere Night
'Scandal' Season 4 Spoilers: What to Expect from the Premiere Night
"Scandal" season 4 will premiere this Thursday, Sept. 25 at 9 pm. Before the much awaited premiere hits the television, let us take this time to set our expectations and get to know what the things we can expect from the fourth season of this political drama. Here is what we know so far.
Harrison Wright was killed off season. This is to give him proper exit as Columbus Short, the actor who portrays him, is no longer part of "Scandal." Season three ended with Harrison staring at the barrel of a gun. This is the assumed moment that he dies. Shonda Rhimes, creator of the show, confirmed it in an interview with TV Guide. When asked whether Harrison will survive despite having a gun on his head, Rhimes just replied that "it is safe to assume that Harrison has met his end." This death will have deep effect on other characters, especially for Abby. According to Darby Stanchfield, the actress who portrays the character, Abby will be different, even at the start of the season, as a result of Harrison's death. How different? That remains for us to discover.
According to Shonda Rhimes, season 4 will be like a season for Abby and that there are so many things about her that will be revealed during this season. We can now add Harrison's death to the mix and see how that would affect her.
Another thing that we all need to look closely into is Huck and his family. Season three also ended with Huck, played by Guillermo Diaz, ringing the doorbell at his ex's house. According to Diaz, this part of the story may not be immediately touched upon but he is certain that at some point, a flashback will answer all our questions as to what transpired in that event.
The question as to whether Quinn, played by Katie Lowes, is really a gladiator may be answered during the premiere. This is also something that we should look forward to and be excited about.
That basically sums it up. How do you think the death of Harrison would affect all the characters and the story? Are you seeing a happy family reunion for Huck? Do you think Quinn's heart is in Gladiators? Let's all find out Thursday at 9 pm.
