NCIS Season 12 Premiere Live Stream: A Look into Season 12 After the Premiere Episode
"NCIS" Season 12 hit televisions last Tuesday September 23. In the premiere episode, agents Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Timothy McGee, played by Mark Harmon and Sean Murray, were sent to Russia to escort an NCIS engineer connected to a classified intel. However, the mission was compromised and the two agents, along with engineer found themselves on the run with a Russian mercenary hot on their heels. Meanwhile, back in the US, the rest of the NCIS team will be worried and would do everything they can to ensure that their people in Russia will be able to get back home safely.
If you have missed the premiere episode which was entitled "Twenty Klicks" on TV, you can watch the live stream on CBS website.
Although we are now waiting for the second episode, CBS is still silent as to what the implication of the Russia mission is. In fact, majority of the season plot is still vague as of the moment. The only thing clear is that season 12 will be dark and action-packed. However, executive producer Gary Glasburg, in an interview with TV Fanatic did give us a glimpse of the season's plot and the significance of the Russian mission.
According to him, they were able to "come up with something that is certainly super action-packed and flips McGee and Gibbs in an interesting, different scenario and well have to see where it leads throughout the season".
Aside from this Russian mission that is sure to keep fans at the edge of their seats, the NCIS team will also have their hands full with the coming of Ellie Bishop, played by Emily Wickerman. Her addition to the show will be very interesting as fans will discover later on in the season.
Season 12 promises to be yet another action packed season. It is a great addition to what USA Today claims to be "television's most popular drama". The series has been coined by The Daily Beast to be "the most watched drama in the world, with 57.6 million viewers as of last year. Catch it every Tuesday at 8pm on CBS.
