Reign season 2 premiere date finally revealed. What to expect from the new season?
Reign season 2 episode 1 is slated to be released on October 2 as part of CW's fall premieres. While the first season showed us that being named Mary Queen of Scots is very difficult with all the death threats surrounding it, Reign season 2 promises to add more drama to the mix.
Reign season 2 continues what season 1 has accomplished; that is the full transformation of Mary as naive, happy-go-lucky lass into a badass queen fit to rule her country. Mary's transformation came about as she constantly avoided dying amidst all the death threats and attempts that came her way.
Reign season 2 episode 1 will have a lot of existing plot twists and new characters that will surely get audiences hook for yet another season. One such character is Princess Claude, the daughter of King Henry and Queen Catherine, who after Henry's death returns to court with the possible motive of getting the throne herself.
Another one of the Reign season 2 characters to look out for is Leith. After becoming a regular character in season 1, Leith's character is expected to cultivate the growing "bromance" between him and Francis. Leith's character will also feature a blossoming romance with Greer with a possible love triangle to look out for.
Reign season 2 will have a complicated storyline with the Plague threatening to decimate the country's population. But one thing is for sure, Reign season 2 audiences will keep seeing the female royal characters of the series in their glamorous sixteenth century wardrobes.
