Peanuts is an upcoming 2015 American computer-animated comedy film, which is based on Charles M. Schulz's comic strip of the same name.
The Sunday American comic strip written and illustrated by Schulz is the most famous and influential in the history of the comic strips. Being able to publish a total of 17,897 strips as per Wikipedia.com, Peanuts comic strip is disputably the longest story ever told by only one person. Peanuts was published in more than 2,600 newspapers, with 355 million readers coming from 75 different countries. It was also translated into a multitude of 21 languages.
Peanuts has had huge success with its specials on television. This includes A Charlie Brown Christmas and It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.
The 3D animation stars 1971 Academy Award Nominee Bill Melendez as the voice artist of Snoopy and his bestfriend, Woodstock.
The American film is set to be piloted Steve Martino. Bryan and Craig Schulz and Cornelius Uliano will served as writers, and at the same time, the main producers of the movie alongside Michael J. Travers and Paul Feig.
Peanuts will be produced by Blue Sky Studios and and will be distributed by 20th Century Fox.
The initial Peanuts movie release was September 25, 2015, to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the comic strip and the 50th anniversary of the TV special. However, Fox changed the premier from the 25th to 19 days earlier. The upcoming comedy film is scheduled to hit theaters and cinemas in 3D on November 6, 2015.
