'The Mockingjay Lives' Update: Is It Finally Happening? A Movie That is Better than the Book? Latest Update for 'The Hunger Games: The Mockingjay' Part 1 - 'The Mockingjay Lives'
The official trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay: Part 1 The Mockingjay Lives is finally here. For months, fans have been given a taste of what they can expect in the last and the darkest installment of the successful franchise - "The Hunger Games." The third book, "The Mockingjay," is the least popular among all three books, so the question remains, is it possible to beat the book this time?
The official trailer gave us a glimpse where Katniss is emotional. She's angry and confused because it feels that everything around her is not what it seems. District 12 is now gone, and she's shocked to find out that District 13 exist. She now needs to decide if she really wants to be the face of the revolution - the Mockingjay. To add more confusion, she saw Peeta alive and well but he is now the official "face" of the capitol.
The third book is going to have two parts but there's no information yet where the Part 1 will end and where Part 2 will pick up. Fans are not supportive of this idea at first, but director Francis Lawrence assured fans that there's going to be "some battles" in the film, especially in part 1. After seeing, the official trailer, it seems to be true. In the trailer, we can see Katniss using her bow to decapacitate a plane and there's some explosion. The visual effects are cutting edge of course.
Eventually, Katniss agreed to become the Mockingjay but her conditions have to be met - rescue Peeta and find out what's wrong with him. Why is he supporting the Capitol? Does he still remember Katniss and the games? Has he been brainwashed? Katniss have all of these questions inside her head and she will do anything to rescue Peeta. Gale is still with her, loyal and is always protecting her. Fans of the Peeta and Katniss love team will rarely see them together in the The Hunger Games: The Mockingjay Part 1 which is of course, understandable since Peeta and Katniss now belongs to two separate teams.
"The Hunger Games: The Mockingjay": Part 1 will hit theaters on Nov. 21.
