"Battlefield: Hardline" Release Date: Prepare to Hit the Streets and Roads with Battlefield Hardline, Welcome to your New Playground
"Battlefield: Hardline" was developed by Electronic Arts and Visceral Games. The fusion of DICE and Visceral Games yielded a major shift from a military theme into cops and robbers. The game play concentrates its theme on law enforcement and the attempt to halt drug criminals. It revolves around a plot, which is divided into several episodes that are full of surprises for gamers.
The game setting adapts our modernized world. However, duty comes first. Some nasty things to do are opening bank vaults, destroying car dealerships, and shooting an underground lab. Live out your dreams of being a cop or criminal.
The game can be played in a visceral single-player campaign or a multiplayer mode.
The visceral single-player is inspired by the most famous crime scenes on television. However, twists and turns keep you excited for the next episode.
In the multiplayer mode, you choose between the law enforcers or the criminals. You have to make options between baton or bat, guns or rifles, armored 4x4 vehicles or plain vehicles. This new mode can support up to 32 players, keeping explosive actions in the Battlefield games.
Multiplayer has four modes - Rescue, Hotwire, Blood Money, and Heist.
Rescue mode. The operative team's main objective is to save the lives of innocent people. Getting back the hostages to safety is the primary concern. The big thing here is there are no second chances in this mode. Playable maps in this mode include Growhouse, High Tension, and Gator Hunt.
Hotwire mode. The cops attempt to retrieve marked cars that were filched by the criminals. Players can hurdle into various rides to your advantage in order to catch the foes. If you are the police, keep in mind that you can have a friend with a rifle to put them down. The playable maps include High Tension and Gator Hunt.
Blood Money mode. The criminals have stolen large amounts of money and of course the cops are trying to recapture the gold. Each party has to bring the money back to their respective bases, in which the way back is not safe. Good thing you can raid your enemy's headquarters. The winner takes all! Playable maps in this mode are Growhouse, High Tension, and Gator Hunt.
Heist mode. The cops must normalize criminals who are making an effort to invade a vault full of money. Once they break in, they have to snitch two bags of moneyand you have to stop them. Playable maps are Growhouse, High Tension, and Gator Hunt.
Given two different modes, teamwork remains the key in the battlefield.
In the war, you have to be prepared. You have to secure your weapons, or else you'll be dead as a vegetable. Your weapons are of equal importance as your allies. The cops are equipped with tasers, tear gas, and riot shields, while the crime-doers are armed with shotguns, ziplines, and hooks.
The cool thing is that the weapons change as you shift battlefields. All gadgets and weapons are accessible to both the cops and the criminals. One interesting feature is the player's ability to purchase weapons and equipment with the cash he has earned per multiplayer game.
In the latest gameplay, however, two new weapons have now been added for the players' use - FMG-9 and Vector K-10. FMG-9 is an archetype for a new cohort of folding submachine guns. Vector K-10 is based on the parent submachine gun and is designed to use a delayed blowback system to minimize expected recoil and muzzle climb.
Be one with the roads and skylines! There are plenty of useable vehicles to choose from. Everything is there on the ground- from muscle cars, sleek bikes, and armored trucks! Have sky battles with various machines available. The type of vehicles varies to adapt with the environment.
List of cars in the Beta include the following:
Armored SUV
Counter ATK Truck
Coupe
Mobile Command CTR
Sedan
Street Motorcycle
Attack Helicopter
Transport Helicopter
The gameplay looks promising, explosive, and addictive. However, there may be enough time to enhance the graphics. Hopefully, its storyline is as great as its multiplayer gameplay.
The game is coming this early 2015. It will be playable in PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
