"NCIS" Season 12 Episode 1 Spoilers: An enigmatic start!
Naval Criminal Investigative Service or 'NCIS' is one of the most popular American TV crime-cum-drama series. Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) is the leader of the team. Team members contain Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), a former Mossad officer named Ziva David and Timothy McGee (Sean Murray).
From Russia, Season 12 Episode one
The premiere episode of season 12 will take the team and its viewers to Russia. Gibbs and McGee will travel to Russia to safely escort home NCIS computer engineer Kevin Hussein. Hussein is involved in some classified intelligence project. The mission is compromised when the two NCIS agent are hunted down by a Russian mercenary group headed by Sergei Mishnev. Bringing home Hussein it turns out is just part of the ploy to bring the NCIS to Russia. The real plan is to target and eliminate the two NCIS agents! With the mercenaries on their tail, the only choice of Gibbs and McGee is to get off the grid!
The remaining team in Washington D.C. tries to save the two by using every asset and inter-agency contact they have. Well, without a doubt the NCIS team is facing a big challenge! If only Director Leon (Rocky Carroll) knew that the personnel he was dealing with in the Russian embassy is really a Russian Secret Agent. The sneaky agent even assures the NCIS team that he will send planes to "recover" McGee and Gibbs. But Director Leon corrects him by saying "Rescue". The agent then replied "Yes, of course!". The guy even added they should "sit tight". But Director Leon replied, "No one is sitting tight. Let's go."
Will they find Gibbs and McGee on time? Or will the Russians get their way?
The Russian inspired premiere episode of 'NCIS' is a fantastic beginning for the series. 'NCIS' is still strongly holding the fort on their 12th Season. With 259 episodes under their belt, the TV program will no doubt solve more crimes surrounding the US Navy and Marines.
