Bash/Shellshock bug: All that you need to know!
A threat for the Internet users has arrived according to Internet Security Experts. They believe that programming flaw "Bash Bug" may expose millions of user's device to danger of being infected. The bash Bug is also known as Shellshock and it can affect not only to the home devices but also power plants and even municipal water systems.
Bash Bug is a special threat for the operating system Unix. That includes Macs as well as lots of servers who run webs using operating system Linux. Most of the Microsoft software does not use Bash system. So users running Windows operated devices are safe from the attack
It is said to be more dangerous than the Heart bleed bug. Heart bleed bug used to expose passwords and important data to the hackers while Bash Bug lets the hacker to install programs or run commands once the device gets affected. The Bash Bug is more threatening for the Mac users. The bug makes it easy for hackers to grab control over a Mac. Macs can be affected by public Wi-Fi network system, which is available in airport, university, and library or in coffee shop. If a hacker manages to hack the router via Bash Bug he/she can consume or load the bandwidth with sperms highly that the user might get huge Internet bill without knowing a thing.
Hackers might also seize control to certain web server and steal online passwords from the database though the threat is not as severe as Heartbleed. The Bash Bug can take massive explosion if it manages to create Internet "worm." It will spread malicious computer coding to the server and might bring the whole server down.
The experts have not fully managed to discover the remedy of this great issue. Therefore, users might have to wait for manufactures to release fixes or updates for their operating systems. This threat has managed to survive for two decades hiding itself in dark. But if it comes out widely millions of users will get affected and damaged.
