Amanda Bynes Latest Arrest News: Amanda Bynes Arrested for DWI
We all loved her and just when we thought she's finally back on the right track, we heard the sad news that Amanda Bynes was arrested for DWI last Sunday at around 3 a.m. The arrest was confirmed by the California Highway Patrol. The charges that were made against the 28-year-old actress were only misdemeanor after it was determined by the authorities that she was "under the influence of an unknown drug." Bynes was released after posting $15,000 bail and she's scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 23.
According to sources, Bynes has been doing well and it seems that living with her parents, Lynn and Rick Bynes, has been beneficial for her. Trouble started when Bynes decided to move out of the house earlier this month. The actress is now renting an apartment in Orange County.
Her legal trouble started back in 2012, after she was pulled over, because she was driving while talking in her cellphone. It was followed by a DUI charge - she side-swiped a police car in West Hollywood. In September, she was again facing two charges of hit and run allegations. Both charges were later dropped. Her DUI charge was also dismissed albeit she was made to undergo probation.
In 2013, Amanda Bynes settled in New York. Unfortunately, her legal problems continue to hound her. This time, she got arrested for marijuana possession as well as reckless endangerment. She also faced allegations of throwing a bong out of the window of her 36th floor apartment.
As a result of her odd behavior and the marijuana incident, the troubled actress underwent psychiatric evaluation. In June of 2014, the Marijuana charges have also been dropped.
Bynes returned to Los Angeles in July 2013, where she, once again, runs afoul with the law. This time she attempted to burn down the driveway of one of her neighbors. She was arrested by the police shortly.
The parents of Amanda Bynes filed for conservatorship as the actions of their daughter is becoming more erratic and dangerous. Bynes is once again undergoing psychiatric evaluation following the attempted arson charges.
