Exodus: Gods and Kings: Movie, Cast, Release Date; Relive the Biblical History in December 2014
Exodus: Gods and Kings is an upcoming biblical epic film, an interpretation based from the Book of Exodus in the Old Testament of the Bible.
Exodus is the Israelites' delivery from slavery, with Moses as their leader.
The biblical film stars Christian Bale as Moses, Joel Edgerton as Rameses II, John Turturro as Seti I, Aaron Paul as Joshua, Sigourney Weaver as Tuya, and Ben Kingsley as Nun.
Other members of the cast include Maria Valverde as Zipporah, Indira Varma as Miriam, Hiam Abbass as Bithiah,Kevork Malikyan as Jethro, Anton Alexander as Dathan, and Golshifteh Farahani as Nefertari.
Aside from Exodus, lead actor Bale's other recent project is Knight of Cups. He also has a future project in 2015 titled ,Jungle Book: Origins, in which he will be voicing the character of Bagheera.
The biblical epic film is directed by Ridley Scott and scripted by Bill Collage, Adam Cooper, and Steven Zaillian. Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark, and Jenno Topping contributed as the film producers.
Filming began last October 2013 in Pechina, Andalusia, Spain and in Tabernas and Sierra Alhamilla Almeria. Additional filming was plotted at Pinewood Studios, England.
The film will be distributed by 20th Century Fox.
Exodus: Gods and Kings is scheduled to debut in theaters and cinemas on December 12, 2014.
