'Homeland' Season 4 Premiere Spoilers: Carrie Mathison As The Station Chief, Will Broody Return In The Show
"Homeland" will soon return to primetime with its new season. Carrie Mathison portrayed by Claire Danes, the CIA's agent, will return to shock the fans once again with her extraordinary acts.
The recent reviews of "Homeland" was not that good especially on their last two seasons. On the first season, they received a lot of criticisms. But this time, critics and viewers expect much on the new season, knowing that Carrie Mathison recently gave birth.
The new season of "Homeland" focuses on Carrie as a station chief in Kabul. "Homeland" Season 4 episode 1 will be entitled "The Drone Queen." Suraj Sharma, Life of Pi, will be a guest star and will play as a naive student. He will be caught in the middle of intrigues that will blow the minds of every viewers.
Season 4 of "Homeland" is considered as the reboot of the show. Though Nick Broody will not be on the scene again, Carrie will have the support of one of her CIA collegues, Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend), and Saul (Mandy Patinkin), her previous mentor. This time, Saul will have a different character, while Peter will fill the void.
Talking about Broody, the showrunner, Alex Gansa had explained that there was a major reason why Broody's name was not mentioned during the new season.
Gansa surely recognizes that stance will not win him any fans when it comes to people who firmly stand Broody's camp. Gansa is also aware that there are some fans who says that they will not watch the show again because Broody is not there. He felt that people invested much on the character and they were so curious about what will come next after the loss of an important person. Gansa also realizes that Broody will be a part of Carrie Mathison.
"Homeland" will air their Season 4 premiere on Oct. 5.
