The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Spoilers, Premiere And Episode 1 Recap: Elena Has Been Using Herbs Which Have Been Allowing Her To Talk, See And Touch Her Dead Boyfriend Causing Her Thirst To Increase
We have the latest for you on the spoilers, premiere and episode 1 recap of The Vampire Diaries season 6. The 6th season of 'Vampire Diaries' premiered on Thursday and it introduced a whole new world. A world without Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie (Kate Graham). With this, we know that Mystic Falls gang is back but this time round, not all of them are allowed in Mystic falls.
The first episode of the new season started off four months after the devastating ending of season 5 finale. Elena (Nina Dobrev) narrated what everyone has been up to for the last couple of months. Travelers' curse is still on Mystic Falls and Sheriff Forbes is left to burst kids for underage drinking instead of identifying bodies. Jeremy has resorted to hooking up with random girls and playing video games as he mourns Bonnie. Meanwhile, Caroline dropped out of Whitmore College so that she could work on finding a spell to break the Traveler's curse. Tyler enrolled in Whitmore College and Alaric joined as a professor of occult studies. Stefan left the town so that he could chase a lead on a witch that has the ability to contact the dead, although he has started working as a car mechanic.
For the past couple of months, Jeremy, Caroline and Alaric have been struggling but Elena has been using herbs which have been allowing her to talk, see and touch her dead boyfriend. The herbs she is using however, have an effect on her. The herbs are making her very thirsty. Elena does not even think about her hunger as she has unlimited access to a blood bank. Luke, who has been supplying her with drugs out of guilt, knows that the drugs usage has to stop. The only problem about that though, is that Elena might not be willing to give up on seeing Damon.
Caroline learnt about Elena's behavior and Alaric is keeping an eye on Tyler since he came from the dead. Alaric almost strangled Luke when he learnt that he has been supplying Elena with the herbs that she has been using. Elena was caught by Caroline and she got a wakeup call from Stefan who admitted that he had given up searching for Damon. With this, Elena gave up using the drugs and she said bye to Damon. In an emotional goodbye, Elena thanked Damon for saving Stefan and bringing back Alaric and Tyler and for also giving her a love which had consumed her, passion and adventure. Episode one concluded with Damon cooking some breakfast for Bonnie. Stay with us for more news on this and much more.
