Ted 2 Movie Release Date News: Casting News, Spoilers and More Updates..

Ted 2 release date is announced. Ted 2, we all know is an upcoming comedy film set to be released on June 26, 2015 by Universal 
Pictures as per Wiki. It is sequel to Ted that was first released in 2012. The work has already started for the sequel.

The casting of Ted 2 is also announced and it includes Seth MacFarlane as Ted, Mark Wahlberg as John Bennett, Amanda Seyfried, Jessica Barth, Richard Schiff, Patrick Warburton, Morgan Freeman, Michael Dorn, Dennis Haysbert, Liam Neeson, Curtis Stigers, Sam J. Jones, John Slattery to name a few. The movie will be directed by Seth MAcFarlane himself again. It is written by him along with Alec Sulkin, Wellesley Wild and produced by him and John Jacobs, Jason Clark and Scott Stuber.

Ted grossed over $500 million worldwide against a mere budget of $50 million and became the 12th highest grossing film of 2012. The film earned enough accolades and some prominent awards such as People's Choice Awards, Empire Award, MTV Movie Award to name a few. The first installment had almost  21 tracks in it. Seth MacFarlane's opening theme "Everybody Needs a Best Friend" was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 85th Academy Awards.

The hit comedy movie is highly anticipated movie of 2015. It is not sure yet what role Liam Neeson and Freeman will be playing yet. They are the new entrants into the movie. It is also kept secret what the movie plot would be. The first installment had a plot revolving around a lonely child named John Bennett who dearly wished for a christmas gift that his large teddy bear to come to life and become his friend and magically it happens. The story then moves ahead with twists and turns and how it affects his life.

It is unclear if 'Ted 2' will continue the original movie plot or have something new for the fans. It would be wise to wait and watch the upcoming Ted 2 live in action on June 16, 2015.
