While Samsung Galaxy S5 was recently released this year, tech junkies can't wait for the upcoming Galaxy S6. Unfortunately, it was reported that S5 got a dull sales against its competitors such as Nexus, Lumia lineups, and iPhone since a lot of users feel underwhelmed with the device's upgrades.
Samsung Galaxy S6 should go above and beyond its duty to amaze consumers. Although Samsung company has enjoyed its top spot among all smartphone producers for a while, this could possibly amend as others desire for the throne. Specifically, Windows got more aggressive with its smart designs, and targets on claiming additional market share in phone and tablet industry.
On the good side, Samsung has made its move in turning to its right direction, mainly on Galaxy Note and Alpha smartphones. These features a lot of robust construction. This includes the aluminum chassis signifying that the company is hopefully making a channel to the public. This was being implied for the S-series as consumers expects for some changes in the smartphones and Samsung company is happy to offer this to the public.
So far, there are rumors that are keep on roaming around. Galaxy S6 suggests to have a 16 or 20 megapixel camera, a QHD or UHD display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 or 810 chipset. There are also speculations about its curved body and screen, as Samsung has been testing for these designs.
Nevertheless, it seems that the company is far more likely to play safe with the newest device considering that S5 and the S-series, being one of their major productrs, got a rough decrease in sales.
Curved screens are the company's gimmick and it was generally tested on other models like the Note Edge and Galaxy Round. So, most probably, Galaxy S6 will mimic more of the standard designs.
Samsung Galaxy S6 will launch some time in 2015 so as to directly compete with iPhone 6.
