G.I. Joe 3 Release Date, Cast And Rumors: The "Rock" Has Earned The Second Sequel Of The Movie Very Favorable Remarks And The producer Therefore Intends To Retain Him And Even Give Him A Bigger Role
We have the latest for you on the release date, cast and rumors of G.I. Joe 3. The G.I. Joe movie is set to be released on 2016. According to Kpopstarz, Screen Rant has confirmed that Paramount and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura has tapped "Retaliation" director Jon Chu to come back for the upcoming sequel alongside the new writer.
The director of the movie was engaged in an interview by MTV and he gave a hint about a dead character by the name 'Duke', a role played by 'Magic Mike' cast might be returning to the sequel even after his death in a Cobra ambush. He said, "You never know, Storm Shadow died in the first one and came back in the second one, and then other characters have never come back. The G.I. Joe world, the best thing about never know who's out it is you who's coming back and who's not." The Rise of Cobra and Retaliation has received divided reviews despite the despite having a fair earning at the box worldwide. In fact, many fans of the movie did not like what was done to their favorite characters.
Having cast Dwayne "The Rock" however, has earned the second sequel of the movie very favorable remarks. The producer therefore intends to retain the character and even give him a bigger role. The producer continued to say, "The last movie was really the set up, in a way, for Roadblock to take over. Dwayne came aboard a little late last time so we weren't able to do everything I think we can do this time, and really get a story that services what the audience expects out of him, and also as an actor pushes him into areas that you wouldn't normally explore in a big franchise movie perhaps." The producer also revealed that the release of the 3rd sequel of the movie will mark the debut of several characters, although he did not give any details about the characters.
As he concluded the interview, Di Bonaventura discussed some of the changes that the new creative team will make to make the 3rd sequel of the movie bigger and better. He said, "The hardest thing in film, I think, is to reduce something to something simple. You want it to be smart, you want it to have all this complexity, you want to do all these things which makes it all so confusing... this time we have a very clear, very defined, tight idea that I wish I had on every sequel I've ever worked on. Simple's the hardest to get to." Stay with us for more news on this.
