Nashville Season 3 Episode 3 Spoilers and Preview: Rayna To Make Private Life Public; Juliette Still Bent On Keeping Pregnancy Secret
Nashville Season 3 episode 3 which airs Wednesday, October 8, at the 10 PM time slot on ABC is entitled "I Can't Get Over You to Save My Life." Written by David Gould and Directed by Stephen Cragg, it will have Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) setting a wedding date which reverberates through the lives of those she loves. Last week, Rayna after discovering that her album has been bumped from No. 1 to No. 2 on the charts, is thinking of playing the social media game to increase her visibility. Her fiance, Luke Wheeler (Will Chase), the man she chose over true love Deacon Clayborne (Charles Esten), wisely tells her, "You are walking into hell with dynamite drawers on."
Meanwhile, Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) is struggling to manage her secret which could prevent her from getting a career-defining movie role. Juliette in last week's episode did not let her pregnancy keep her from nailing her audition. This week, she will be meeting the leading man who would play her love interest if she got the part.
Elsewhere, Luke's new back-up singer, Pam York (Brett Taylor), will be trying to makes her presence known. Gunnar Scott (Sam Palladio) will be getting a visit from his first love, Kiley (Alexa PenaVega). And Layla Grant (Aubrey Peeples) will be wielding her power over the closeted gay country singer Will Lexington (Chris Carmack). Last week, she memorably told him: "You know you owe me everything. You owe me. Everything. I own you."
Nashville Season 3 episode 3 also stars Clare Bowen as Scarlett O'Connor, Eric Close as Teddy Conrad, Oliver Hudson as Jeff Fordham, Jonathan Jackson as Avery Barkley, Maisy Stella as Daphne Conrad and Lennon Stella as Maddie Conrad, along with guests Ed Amatrudo as Glenn Goodman, Chaley Rose as Zoey Dalton, David Alford as Bucky Dawes, Kourtney Hansen as Emily, and Laura Benanti as Sadie Stone.
