'Gracepoint': Newest Mystery Event Series to Watch
'Gracepoint' is a new 10-episode mystery drama TV series in America, directed by James Strong and written and created by Chris Chibnall. This crime drama series is a remake of "Broadchurch," the critically acclaimed hit mystery event series in United Kingdom. Gracepoint is said to be the original series' expansion that introduces new characters, threading new unique storylines and identifying new suspects by gripping narrative that'll end when all secrets have been revealed and when the murders is caught.
For many beginners, the original 'Broadchurch' is a taut, brilliant as well as an emotionally devastating portrayal of a case of a child murder in a distant seaside town, and this American remake is actually flat-out inferior, in spite of maintaining most of similar plot until the 7th of the ten episodes.
In the 'Gracepoint', Detective Emmett Carver, who has recently arrived in Gracepoint in order to fill a high position in the police force of the town, led the investigation. The job had been previously promised to Det. Ellie Miller, who must put any resentment aside and have to work the case with the new boss. Detective Miller needs to break the news of the crime to Joe, her husband and to her son, Tom who was the victim's best friend, Danny Solano.
All people in the town has been pulled into the investigation, which include Jack Reinhold, who is a private man running a kayak rental service as well as Susan Wright, a very mysterious woman living with her dog in the RV park near the beach coast.
The death of Danny also made grave impacts on the tourism of the place, and the great decline in visitors has been felt most of the owner of the hotel, Gemma Fisher.
The enthralling crime series actually carves a very powerful and strong dark wave throughout the Gracepoint town with a very startling conclusion, as all the detectives put all the pieces together about what happened on the night of the death of Danny. The 'Gracepoint' is indeed a very interesting crime drama series in American television that is worth watching.
