'Vertu Aster' Price, Featurs, Specs, Rumors: Available in various colors, Starts from $6700+

The brand name Vertu always reminds users of the luxurious phone manufacturer. The company has released another luxurious smartphone on October 2nd in U.K. and now it's gradually hitting the global market. The smartphone is named - Vertu's Aster.

Vertu Aster is an Android operating system based smartphone, which offers high-end build quality with moderate specifications. This phone attracts everyone with its premium design. However, its expensive price might prevent from interested customers to get one or convince uninterested customers to be attracted to the phone. 

The earlier version of Vertu named Signature Touch also came with smart hardware configuration but due to its ultra-price tag the sale volume was not up to the mark. The new version will come with more vibrant colors like pink and bright red. Surprisingly each handset is hand made by a craftsman. The phone is built with luxury materials like grade 5 titanium. Even the body leather that is used to wrap the phone is made of Ostrich hide.

This phone has brilliant display resolution with 4.7-inches display size and 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The pixel density is excellent with 473 pixels per inch and 16M colors. The display type is Sapphire crystal glass capacitive touchscreen. The body is protected with oleophobic coating, which also appears in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

The device is operated by Android version 4.4.2 KitKat. It has updated hardware configurations where the chipset includes Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with Quad-Core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 processor. The rear camera is also moderate but at this price range, this type of camera sensor is really shocking. The rear camera consists of 13MP sensor while the front camera includes only 2.1MP sensor.

The rear camera is Hasselblad certified. Other sensors like gyro, accelerometer, compass, proximity sensors are available like normal Android operated smartphones. The available colors will be blush calf, tangerine, raspberry ostrich, onyx calf, lagoon calf, cognac ostrich, caviar karung. It has 64GB internal storage facility with only 2GB of RAM. There is no provision for adding extra micro SD card.

This is the most expensive smartphone in the market now starting from $6,756 for the calf leather model. The ostrich model costs around $9,490.
