Gospel Singer Jessica Reedy Launches New Label Purity Records and Partners with Central South Distribution
Gospel singer Jessica Reedy is ringing in the New Year by announcing the launch of her independent music label Purity Records. Partnering with leading Gospel music distributor Central South Distribution, Reedy is also planning on releasing her next studio album spring 2014.
"During my short time in the industry, I have learned a lot about the business and about myself," said Reedy. "I discovered the Lord had created me a leader, a pillar, a trailblazer, a lender, an entrepreneur, and a strong woman who is fearless and capable of accomplishing anything with Christ. I knew that would take determination, ambition, strength, wisdom, the Holy Spirit's guidance and a strong distribution company backing me, which is why I am happy to join with such a respected and accomplished company as Central South Distribution. Their reach goes beyond the United States and their influences go beyond genres. I look forward to what God has in store for me and Central South in the near future."
Reedy broke into the Gospel music business after winning second place on Season Two of BET's Sunday Best. The exposure earned her a record deal and a number one spot on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart with her debut album From the Heart.
